Medical Use of Lasers

The following is the recommended units, wavelengths, output powers for various applications. In the next 3 emails, I've attached price lists, photos, specifications.

Low Level Laser for musculo-skeletal traumas-injuries-conditions.

Standard Low Level Laser Therapy for Musculo-skeletal injuries requires the use of near infrared wavelengths of 785 up to 850nm. These may include 785nm, 808nm, 810nm, 830nm, 840nm or 850nm.

The human body has a "window" in which near infrared is effective, and this window includes the above wavelengths. Near infrared is recommended due to the penetration properties of these wavelengths into the tissue. This can be up to 3 - 4 cms, which is needed to effect the deeper muscular/vascular/neural systems. Output powers should be at least 200mw to 500mw for effective spread of the energy at the deeper levels. Lower powers of 50mw to 100mw can be used, but treatment times and point selection need to be considerably increased to gain the same effects as the higher powers.

If only requirement is to Tonify/Sedate Acupuncture points, Visible red systems at 635nm, 650nm, 660nm or 670nm can be used, with output powers up to 20mw. Lower output powers can be used due to the subtle nature of the Acupuncture Energy system. It is worth considering an alternative approach whereas visible red is used for the superficial points eg Auricular, H7 etc, and near infrared up to 100mw is used for the deeper points eg GB30.

This approach allows for a broader spectrum therapy.

Lasers can be modulated at extremely high frequencies, and thus  modulation frequencies can include Nogier, Homeopathic, Back Flower, Californian Flower, Rife etc. These can be utilized from any external source of Frequency generator, including your PC.

Correct Dosages per condition, are important in that high Dosages are Bio-inhibitory, whereas Low Dosages are Bio-Stimulatory. Typically, if pain relief is required, the Dosage range is generally within 6-10 Joules per point. However, once pain relief is achieved (generally within the 1st to 3rd treatment) healing Dosages of only 3-4 Joules per point should then be applied.

The Clini-Lase Low Level Laser system offers a wide range of choices, and can be customized if required. All units use Laser Diodes operated at approx: 60-70% maximum of their maximum output capability. This ensures long life diode operation.
